The airport to use for Barcelona is Barcelona El Prat. The airport is 12km from the venue and would cost approx. €35 by taxi.  Taxis are available outside the terminal building.

The hotel is also easily accessible by Metro and airport bus directly to outside the hotel.

Visiting Barcelona

Barcelona is a beautiful city and a tourist’s dream if you plan to spend your weekend here.  From visiting the Gaudi architecture to strolling along the famous La Rambla, shopping in the Passeig de Gràcia, eating dinner at the Marina or soaking up the sun at Barceloneta beach, there is so much to do.  For the famous tourist attractions such as the Sagrada Familia basilica it is best to book in advance.

Language

The official language of the conference is English.

Visa

Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you contact your local Consulate for official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that may apply to you. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.

Official letters of invitation

An official personalised letter of invitation will be provided to registered participants as part of the registration procedure. This invitation is prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the programme. Invitation letters can be provided electronically (PDF) or as a hard copy if required. Hard copies will be mailed via regular post free of charge. In case of special delivery (courier) request, the participant will be responsible for all charges.

Dress code

Participants are advised to wear business casual for all conference functions and programmes.

Guest attendance policy

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

 Liability and Insurance

Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use their safety deposit boxes for your valuables.

The conference secretariat and organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
