The Stroke Service Tracker is a survey which will monitor the progress of quality of stroke care and outcomes. This will allow for comparisons among European countries.

The data will be provided by the Stroke Action Plan for Europe National Coordinators and their teams, and reflect the Stroke Action Plan for Europe key performance indicators, as well as basic clinical variables.

This is really exciting development, which will for the first time, reveal the status of stroke care and help us improve outcomes for those who have suffered a stroke across Europe.

Arlene Wilkie, Director General, Stroke Alliance for Europe

Based on anonymous data collected from 48 countries, the results will be published in 2022 and annually thereafter.
