After a highly competitive tendering process, SAFE is proud to announce their partnership with The Foundry Healthcare, a division of Foundry Communications Limited. The Foundry were successfully awarded the contract to develop SAFE’s new and exciting e-learning tool to help strengthen the advocacy capacities of our member organisations.

“This was one of those projects that had the whole agency talking. Everybody understood both the political and emotional motivators behind SSOFT and worked really hard to deliver a proposal that would meet the needs of its users. We are delighted to be working with SAFE to raise awareness of stroke and support all those affected “. Ian McKay, Digital Director and Founder

The Foundry Healthcare delivered a passionate and professional response to our brief, demonstrating they had the experience and skills to deliver against our primary objectives, which is enabling stroke survivors and their supporters to campaign for greater awareness and better care, and to build stroke support organisations” Jon Barrick Board President of SAFE.

The Foundry was eager to meet SAFE’s members at the recent Working Conference in Zagreb and to begin to understand their needs. The Team was inspired by the many stories they heard from both  stroke survivors and support organisations about the challenges they face and the amazing work  they deliver in their home countries. The Foundry used this opportunity to listen, learn and ensure that members’ needs are incorporated into the tool design, as well as embed this knowledge and experience in the content being developed. Their focus was on developing a tool ‘for our members by our members’.

Sharing experiences was the most valuable thing at the conference” – members of SAFE’s SOUTH Country Cluster.

The Foundry and SAFE are now busy working on the development of the e-learning tool and continuing to engage with SAFE’s members  as part of the design and testing process.

We’re looking forward to collaborating closely with SAFE to deliver an e-Learning tool created by users for users. The workshops we ran at the Annual Working Conference in Zagreb last week have already provided some fantastic insights that will help to drive development forward” – Anna Scott, Head of Healthcare.

Phase 1 of SSOFT is due to launch across Europe in March next year, with Phase 2 and 3 being launched in the summer and winter of 2018.
